The member of the DP Presidency, Grigels Muçollari, has stated that the 2 ships with hazardous waste will return the next day from Thailand to the Port of Durrës.
In order not to allow the government to manipulate the testing of toxic substances, the Democratic Party has called a protest.
According to PD, Rama intends to remove his responsibility in this illegal international traffic and manipulate the truth. Muçollari emphasizes that Albanians should know where these dangerous substances come from, how they are treated and where they end up.

But we should not allow this scenario.
Albanians must learn where these dangerous substances originate, how much they are, where they come from, how they are treated, and where they end up.

102 containers suspected to be filled with dangerous waste will be returned to the port of Durrës. The ship 'Maersk Campton' and a second container ship of the same line, 'Maersk Candor' at the beginning of July loaded in the port of Durrës over 100 containers of waste, which come from the ash of electric metallurgical chimneys destined for Thailand.
