Former deputy of the Democratic Party Halit Valteri said that Ilir Meta is the most corrupt man and the biggest evil in the country.
He said that the other two evils are Sali Berisha and Edi Rama. In June 2022, Valteri reported the then president Ilir Meta to SPAK, but then he also denounced other figures of the Freedom Party.
"I do not wish anyone to be behind bars, but anyone who embezzled public money and used this money either for lobbying, for corruption, or for a life of luxury, deserves to be behind bars and must be held accountable one by one . It doesn't matter where Ilir Meta is, for me it matters that this money is returned. To have a government and responsible people who deserve the trust of Albanians and use public funds to improve the lives of Albanians", said Valteri for "News 24".
