"I started it in 2013", Berisha accused Rama before the inauguration

The Namazgja Mosque, which is expected to be inaugurated today by Prime Minister Rama and the Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has also clashed with politics.

The head of the DP Sali Berisha trying to get a part of the credit for the construction of this mosque said that it was his government in 2013 which paved the way for its construction. Through a post on the "Facebook" social network, Berisha accused Prime Minister Rama of obstructing this project for 11 years when he was mayor and then when he became prime minister.

Berisha also added that ignoring the head of KMSH in this inauguration is a scandal in itself.

 Berisha's full post:

Today the Namazgja Mosque in Tirana is inaugurated!

Dear friends, the inauguration of the Namazgja Mosque in Tirana 11 years after the start of construction is a special event for the Muslim believers of Tirana and all of Albania.

This magnificent religious temple also graces the capital of the country. On this occasion, I wish from the bottom of my heart to all the Muslim believers of Tirana and Albania for the new magnificent mosque of 5000 places where they will pray, pray to the Almighty God.

Dear friends, the construction of this mosque started on April 20, 2013, after the DP government returned the land confiscated by the communist regime to the Muslim community, which was prevented for 11 years by Edi Rama as Mayor. Her project was made by one of the most famous studios in the world. But after the elections, Rama, in an irresponsible act, stopped the construction of the Namazgja Mosque. The beginning of the construction of the mosque was inaugurated for the second time on April 20, 2015, but with a changed project and in the presence of the man who had prevented in all ways the return of the land to the Muslim community and the construction of the Mosque, Edi Rama and the President of the Republic of Turkey Erdogan who apparently influenced Rama not to hinder its construction and took over the financing of the construction of the mosque.

The mosque is a gift of the Turkish Muslim believers to the Muslim believers of Tirana, so I take the opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to them for their generosity. Fortunately, this generosity of the Muslim believers of Turkey was used by Edi Rama for political purposes, but even worse, to sow the seeds of disunity among Albanian Muslims, as he recently did with the independent Bektashi Islamic state. Under this motto of division today, in violation of the 100 year statute of KMSH, the President of the Albanian Muslim Community will not be at the inauguration and this is an insult to all the Muslim believers of Albania that he legitimately represents. The Democratic Party does not agree with these unconstitutional unacceptable political interventions from inside or outside in matters of religious beliefs. It considers tolerance and inter-religious cooperation as a divine value of Albanians and guarantees Albanian Muslim and Christian believers that this party, in full respect of the freedom of belief of Albanian citizens, will keep intact the Constitutional principle of the separation of the state from religious beliefs. in Albania.
