The last changes in the Electoral Code were not so unintentional, where the scheme with open and closed lists was introduced. It seems that these changes will be used by Rama, but probably also by Berisha, to keep loyal people behind him and drive away others.
Yesterday in the Assembly, Edi Rama made it clear to all the "old-timers" that they will have to take the mandate of the deputy with merit. In short, he made it clear to them that those with more than two mandates will find themselves on the open lists.
In order not to create a debate, Rama said that he will compete there himself, as the only ones who will have a safe place are Taulant Balla and Blendi Klosi, as they will be on the closed lists.
" This time, based on the new electoral law, the members of our representative will be 187. 140 on the voting list for the open contest in the people and 47 on the closed list of the party.
