Evi Kokalari, the Albanian-American activist, who is one of the strongest critics of Democratic leader Sali Berisha, emphasizes in a post on social networks that there is a rift between him and Chris LaCivita and they do not get along at all.
Kokalari reacted after Berisha today chose to respond to Prime Minister Edi Rama, who has been labeling him as a 'swamp owl' for weeks.
" Athena and Minerva, the two well-known goddesses, one of the Greeks, the goddess of knowledge, and the Minerva of the Romans, the same, did not choose any other bird as a symbol of their mental power, but chose precisely the owl that became a beloved character for all civilized people ," Berisha said in his reaction, calling Rama an ignorant person.
But Kokalari considers Berisha's reaction today as something thoughtful that Chris LaCivita has done.
" He did something clever and LaCivita explained to Berisha that the owl is a symbol of wisdom (in America).
In Albania, the owl symbolizes something scary, one that evokes death, which is why Berisha has not responded to Rama so far.
"The mentality of LaCivita and Berisha does not match at all, they even emphatically disagree ," writes Kokalari.
