The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, reacted today regarding the aggravated situation in the healthcare system and the corruption that, according to him, is closely linked to the governance of Edi Rama.
Berisha called Edi Rama responsible for the crimes that, according to him, are occurring in the healthcare system, accusing him of leaving the sick without medicine, while spending on personal luxury.
He concluded by emphasizing that after May 11, these abuses will receive a full and final response.
"Your observation is correct, the party should react and has reacted. But it should react more. But we say one thing, this problem will absolutely be solved after May 11. Because with these people, correction is hopeless. It often happens that people say, Edi Rama doesn't have it all, they have those around him. But Edi Rama knows that a cancer patient can never be without medicine. Let's say that he has no hand in those thefts, then how does he tolerate it, how does he accept such a thing, how does he have the heart to buy a vase for 4-5 million in the courtyard of the Prime Minister's Office and not take the medicine for the sick to the Oncology Hospital, how can he open a bottle for 36 thousand euros and not leave it for the treatment of the sick? These are crimes, these are included in crimes against humanity. And this is corruption.

How can a prime minister, when he hears, as in the case you presented, that there is no medicine, but his first duty is to take that medicine wherever he is in the world and urgently bring it to the sick. He has no soul. This man, for complex reasons, has created an absolute disregard for people. How is it possible that in an 8 billion euro budget, he leaves only 16 million for pensioners? Where does it go? What does your mind tell you? You do not consider them. You multiply them by zero. And this with the sick. He should thank you for the notice you give and order the medicine to be brought within 24 hours. But he does not do it, he has no soul. But these things on May 11 will receive the final answer", Berisha said.
