In May 2024, two special parliamentary commissions, "Xhafaj" and "Braçe", were created, with the aim of acting against SPAK and the new justice institutions, and against the free media that they have not intimidated, subjugated, or been unable to buy.
By order of Sali Berisha, the DP has not publicly participated in the Anti-SPAK and Anti-media committees led by Fatmir Xhafaj and Erion Braçe, but has participated "de facto" behind the scenes.
Because Sali Berisha and Edi Rama are on the same line and on the same front of attack against justice: one is in the process of trial and investigation for several files of serious crimes, while the other is under investigation for many corruption cases, but unaffected because he has the mandate of prime minister.
Therefore, Sali Berisha, who has appealed to the Constitutional Court both government decisions and routine laws, and even the decision to close "Tik-Tok", has not appealed the two decisions to establish anti-constitutional commissions against the independence of SPAK, justice, and media freedom.

Even Edi Rama, during his 12 years in power, has bought the media and attempted 7 times to make laws to threaten, attack and subjugate free voices; he has bought, threatened and used several segments of the justice system, in function of his schemes of invulnerability and attacking rivals within the SP.
After the new justice system touched Sali Berisha and Ilir Meta and "knocked" on Edi Rama's door; they began the attacks and fabricated an anti-constitutional commission against SPAK, to scare him and take him hostage.
If they cannot bring it down with the "Xhafaj" commission; then, regardless of which party wins the May 11 elections, Sali Berisha's project to merge SPAK and the Special Court will be implemented, under the guise of an alleged reform, while for the free media that denounces the affairs, they will use the methods and tricks of 'Putin' and 'Erdogan'.
This joint anti-SPAK and anti-media project also explains the fact that Sali Berisha did not appeal Decisions No. 25 and No. 26 dated March 13, 2025 of the Assembly, which extended the term of the activity of the "Xhafaj" parliamentary committee until the end of July and the "Braçe" committee until September 2025.
Sali Berisha knows that these two decisions are unconstitutional, because parliamentary committees cease to operate and are abolished 4 months before the elections, but he does not bring them to constitutionality even now that their term is being extended, when parliament is closed./ Pamphlet
