Sali Berisha is continuing his battle with justice, but on a path that not everyone expected.
Today, he has published a book entitled "Facts and documents hidden by SPAK for the political arrest of Sali Berisha".
It was the former prime minister himself who disclosed the news, as he wrote that his file was assembled by Edi Rama.
"Dear friends, anyone who is interested in the truth of the political arrest of the opposition leader Sali Berisha, can read in this report (find the link at the end) the truth with official documents hidden by the political prosecutors, more than the Partizani file is a pyramid scam based on Taulant Balla's false report dated 01/12/2020. The beginning and end file was assembled by order of Edi Rama in the old style of state security, hiding and ignoring hundreds of official documents that prove that from alpha to omega there is no legal violation in this file, no legal violation is found, fact or a document that blames Sali Berisha and Prof. Jamarbër Malltezi. Since dozens of employees of right and left governments from 1995 to 2009 have their signatures on the documents of this file, they are not under criminal prosecution because they strictly followed the law. In the entire process of recognizing, returning the property to the legal owners and privatizing the buildings built on their property, there is no decision signed by Sali Berisha and no evidence of any employee that there was pressure from him.
In this process, the state has not suffered any damage to hundreds of legal owners, including Prof. The Maltezi have received their property confiscated 60 years ago by the communist dictatorship. From 2006 to 2012, thanks to government reforms, about 510 thousand legal owners received 1,577,400,000 m2 in return or compensation, Malltezi, one of them received 410 m2 of land inherited from his family.

Berisha dismissed the accusations as baseless, describing them as political attacks by Prime Minister Edi Rama.
