Saimir Koreshi, a member of parliament from the Democratic Party, stated before the opposition protest that "everything is in the hands of the people today." So it is not known how this protest will end, while there are rumors that there may be tensions.
"Today, the people themselves are in control, so apart from the party leader's words, I think the rest will be what the people feel. Everything is in the hands of the people. Every Albanian has been robbed," Koreshi told A2 CNN.
According to him, the best thing is for Edi Rama to resign today and for a technical government to be established. "He is deeply involved in crime and connected to all the affairs that are happening in Albania," added the Democrat MP.
According to him, today's protest "is beyond parties." "All Albanians have been robbed equally. The stolen figures that have come to light so far should be multiplied by 100 with those we have seen who have received the USBs," Koreshi further emphasized.
