The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has arrived at the DP headquarters, where he was welcomed with cheers from his supporters.
Supporters have gathered in front of the Democratic Party headquarters on the eve of the national protest called by the opposition, which is expected to start at 6:00 PM, in front of the Prime Minister's Office.
After several speeches on Monday, the opposition decided to hold a national protest against government corruption. The date was set after SPAK's decision to request the arrest of Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, but also after details of the dossier, which also implicates Prime Minister Rama, emerged.
As the opposition rally is expected to begin, metal cordons have been placed around the government building. The entrance to the Prime Minister's Office has also been armored, while festive decorations have been removed for fear of damage.
Despite the fact that a violent protest was expected, Flamur Noka declared a few minutes ago that they are in favor of peaceful gatherings and against violence, however, it remains to be seen how the situation will develop.
