The Serbian state will receive 22 percent of the profits from the investment of Trump's son-in-law, but what will the Albanians benefit from Sazan's project?
Albanians continue to be in the news regarding Jared Kushner's investment in Sazan. Although it was sold with great pomp that Trump's son-in-law will invest over 1 billion dollars, in fact it is not yet known what the Albanians will gain, how the project will be in detail, whether the area will be protected, etc.
But, unlike what happens in Albania, in Serbia it is the opposite. Foreign media reported on the same day that Trump's son-in-law will invest in Sazan and Belgrade. He will build two magnificent towers in the Serbian capital. But, if we look at the Serbian media, things are clear there and the profit is even known.
According to the local media, the construction will take place in the building of the General Staff of the Army, which was bombed by the Americans. The land will be given to Trump's son-in-law for 99 years and after this period he has the right to acquire ownership. Likewise, the project will cost 500 million dollars and 22 percent of the profits will belong to the Serbian state.
According to the claims of both parties, the investment agreement for the "revitalization" of the General Staff has not been signed, but from the document published by the Serbian media, it can be seen that there is a Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Serbia and the American firms Atlantic. Incubation Partners LLC and Kushner Realty LLC. Serbia and "Atlantic Incubation Partners LLC", a subsidiary of "Kushner Realty LLC", are expected to create a limited liability company with headquarters in Serbia.
Two large towers that will contain hotels and luxury apartments may rise from the ruins of the former masterpiece of Yugoslav brutalism, built in 1963 by architect Nikola Dobrović. The complex will also have a memorial as well as a museum.
So in Serbia things are clear to some extent, in Albania no one speaks. The Prime Minister appears in the media and says nothing. It no longer says the main thing, what will the Albanians gain? In Serbia it is well known that the Serbs will benefit from 22 percent of the investment, in Albania the only one who wins is Edi Rama, who will use the investment to "buy" Trump if he takes the Presidency. The Albanians have so far won "Noc Rrokun"./ Pamphlet
