The DP's "Poltore" in front of the Prime Minister's Office

The Democratic Party is expected to hold its next rally on Monday afternoon, the first for 2026, in front of the Prime Minister's Office building, as a form of protest against Prime Minister Edi Rama.

This is the 5th rally in as many weeks that the DP and its allies have organized under Edi Rama's offices. In the format of a "citizen's parliament", where MPs and participants can have their say, the protest is expected to start at 6:00 PM.

Democrats have not given importance to participation in this format of protests, while according to the Democratic leader, what is important are the messages that are conveyed.

Since May 11, the date when the parliamentary elections were held, the DP has called only one national protest, while organizing several small protest formats, more as a response to internal voices demanding a reformatting of the party's leadership.
