Democratic leader Sali Berisha has come to the defense of Adriatik Lapaj and the activists of "Albania Becomes", who clashed with police forces at the end of a protest called in front of the Prime Minister's Office.
Several dozen police forces violently intervened against the protesters, pulling down two tents that had been set up on the boulevard, while some protesters were escorted by the police.
Lapaj accused the security forces of violence, and even took a dig at the democratic leader, as he addressed the people in uniform and said: "You love the one who steals (Edi Rama) and the one who comes to you with a Molotov cocktail (Sali Berisha).
But Berisha, in his reaction on social media, considers the police's behavior towards peaceful protesters as terror.
"Stop the terror against peaceful protesters! Ramaduro, in defense of his corrupt mega-affairs, orders the police to rape protesters in front of the prime minister's office! Albanians will reserve the fate of Maduro!", writes Berisha.
