On January 25, 2025, the leadership of the still free thieves of the Freedom Party held an electoral meeting in Elbasan, with four vows: protests to release the amber leader Ilir Meta from prison, continuing attacks against SPAK, the fight against corruption, and returning to power together with the DP, to save Albanians from poverty.
At the podium of the meeting with a group of militants remaining in this party, there was the one who was rumored to be stealing, Tedi Blushi, former presidential advisor and "regent" of Ilir Meta's throne for 3 months.
On the podium of the PL meeting in Elbasan, was former minister and chief thief Edmond Haxhinasto, known as a record holder for thefts with tenders, concessions and licenses for roads, transport, energy, water supply, seaports, Albcontrol and Rinas airport.
On the podium was Petraq Milo, former member of the Supervisory Council of the State Bank during the era of Ardian Fullani's thefts and chief advisor to former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.
On the podium was MP Erisa Xhixho, with businesses in construction, education and healthcare, owner of many properties acquired during the LSI's rule with the DP and SP, or more precisely the daughter of Pirro Xhixho, defendant under "house arrest" by SPAK and GJKKO, for corruption when he was a director at Telecom and AKEP.
But on the PL podium was also Dashamir Xhika, former Director of Roads in the years 2013-2017 as a representative of the SMI; arrested on February 2, 2018 and sentenced to prison, for corruption with funds for the Elbasan-Gjinar, Tirana-Elbasan road and other tenders.
After the leaders of the Freedom Party spoke about the unjust arrest of the amber Ilir Meta, about the continuation of the fight against SPAK and about the fight against corruption, former thief minister Edmond Haxhinasto gave the floor to former prison director Dashamir Xhika, whom he introduced as the Chairman of the PL in the Elbasan Region and a member of the party's leadership.
And Dashamir Xhika spoke very strongly against corruption, declaring that after the PD-PL takes power, this phenomenon will be put to an end.
Apparently, after the arrest of Ilir Meta, on the podiums of the newly renamed SMI, former ministers and directors who are thieves have remained, preaching morals and dreaming of power, among them Dashamir Xhika, convicted of theft in road tenders, most of which he took from Ilir Meta and Edmond Haxhinasto.
But with the difference that Dashmir Xhika and his boss Ilir Meta "ate" the prison, while former minister Edmond Haxhinasto is not even affected by SPAK and is enjoying billions and doing construction, tourism and transportation businesses with his brother-in-law Nasip Naço.
