Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha stated during a media conference that the Democratic Party will internationally denounce the massive use of tear gas against protesters during the January 24 protest.
Berisha said that the State Police has violated all international conventions. He said that this flagrant violation will also be denounced domestically.
Mr. Berisha, how will the Democratic Party respond to the massive tear gas that was thrown at the protest, as you mentioned a little while ago, with expired gas, that is, three years expired? Will the Democratic Party take concrete actions given that you yourself declared that it could have direct consequences on the health of citizens?
Sali Berisha: We will denounce this act both in international institutions and within the country. It is a flagrant, flagrant violation of international conventions.
