Yesterday the Supreme Court sealed the issue of Fredi Beleri's oath and this has not gone unnoticed in the Greek media...
The Greek media continue to closely follow the developments regarding Fredi Beleri. Yesterday, the Supreme Court took another decision against him, stating that SPAK has the right to allow or not to be sworn in as mayor. The news caused a sensation in Athens and "Tanea" devoted a long article to it with the title: "Tactics and obstacles of Beleri's oath".
Citing Beleri, the Greek newspaper says that Albanian justice has been politically captured, while adding that Athens will pursue this case to the end.
" The Supreme Court has decided that the Special Court is competent to make the final decision on whether the elected president of Himara should be sworn in. The tactics and continuation of the attempt to control justice in order to prevent the swearing in and taking office continues to be denounced by the elected - now - Mayor of Himara, Fredi Beleris, in all his statements. All this while the game continues as to which court has jurisdiction to decide whether Beleris should be allowed to take the oath. With Athens declaring its determination to continue its efforts, in order not to influence the decision of justice, but to allow the swearing-in of the elected president of Himara ", states the well-known Greek newspaper.
On the other hand, the portal, "Stagon News", is based on the clarification of the investigation file for Beler. According to the portal, the witnesses were paid by the government and this shows the government's political plan for the political extermination of Beler.
" The developments in the case of the elected mayor of Himara, Fredi Beleris, are fast, since an audio document has been made public, for which the main witness claims that it was financed by the Albanian police. The audio was published on the X platform by himara.gr and includes the witness' conversation with a lawyer. He admits to receiving money from the state police, but does not specify the amount he received. "Yes, I received a reward for this work", he said when asked if it was financed. Also, when asked "who gave the money" he answered "the state police", while he said "I don't remember" how much money he received for this case. It is noted that Fredi Beleris, in the statements he made about the charges he is facing, stated that "the matter was raised politically". It should be noted that the former prime minister of Albania, Berisha, had revealed a few days ago about the financing of the only witness of the prosecution against the mayor Fredi Beleris. Let's see what Edi Rama will do now ", writes the portal.
What is noticeable is that there was no reaction from Athens on the decision taken by the Supreme Court yesterday. Until now, Greece asked the government to allow Beleri to be sworn in, but with yesterday's decision, the Supreme Court decided that the elected mayor should be in the hands of SPAK. / Pamphlet
