"Black hole for the budget", Sula for the bankruptcy of the water

The deputy of the Democratic Party, Dashnor Sula, speaking about the bankruptcy of the water supply companies, stated that the government has turned Albania into a wonderland.

Through a post on the social network "Facebook", Sula said that the water supply companies have turned into bad debtors and a black hole for the state budget, since according to him, they have turned into "dens of patron Nazis and as financiers of the party in power".

He added that no enterprise can afford the expenses from the income it collects if the administration swells to make room for militants who never show up for work.

" If citizens had so much debt, how would the government behave?! The government has turned Albania into a wonderland.

For years, the water supply companies, which are otherwise known as dens of patron Nazis and financiers of the ruling party, have turned into bad debtors and a black hole for the state budget.

According to the Ministry of Finance, the debts created by the water supply and sewage companies turn out to be about 27.8 billion ALL (264 million euros) by the end of the first quarter of 2023, of which about 15 billion ALL are invoiced liabilities and 12.8 billion ALL are obligations for late interest.

So, 264 million euros of debt from 61 subjects fall.

The worst is that despite having these huge debts, the state-owned enterprises also receive additional conditional funds from the government.

To understand it more simply, it is as if the Albanian government gave money to an Albanian family to pay off the debts it has with a third party.

Did this happen? Of course not. Unlike what is done with the water supply, with Albanian families those who for 1 thousand and 1 reasons create debts, then they are arrested or their service is limited.

This is Albania where the law is not equal for everyone. Heads of families are arrested, while the managers of "money-sucking black holes" are promoted.

No enterprise can afford to spend from the revenue it collects if the administration is bloated to make room for militants who never show up for work. It does not cover expenses when tenders are abused so that the money taken from Albanians goes to the budget of the party in power to buy the elections ", writes Sula.
