The situation within the Democratic Party resembles total chaos. Everyone is against everyone and no one agrees to listen to the opinions or respect the decisions of the other party, not even to take a step back for the good of the party.

After the fight that took place within what is called the official PD, between Basha's group and that of Gazment Bardhi, Berisha has now entered the 'equation' again.

Although Bardhi convened the National Council of the Democratic Party a few days ago, trying to cancel the July 29 elections that reinstated Basha as president, now another branch of the Democratic Party, more precisely that of Reestablishment by order of Sali Berisha, has called today at 19:00 the meeting of the National Council.

In this first meeting after the local elections of May 14, it is announced that the analysis of the result obtained by the "together we win" coalition and the claims about the process that the opposition has revealed during these months will be discussed.

The meeting is also expected to discuss the opposition action that will be followed by the Reestablishment group in the Democratic Party during the fall.

" The Presidency of the Democratic Party takes a decision on the initiation of the internal analysis and the calling of the National Council. The Democratic Party at the meeting of the Presidency decided to start the process of its internal analysis, where the directions and modalities to be followed were approved.

The presidency also decided to call a meeting of the National Council on Friday at 19.00 for the approval of the relevant documents ," said the announcement of Berisha's office on August 1.

This whole meeting resembles a copy of what the new leader of the DP Lulzim Basha called on September 2, where he announced that he will do the same analyzes that Berisha is expected to do today.

The re-election of Basha at the head of the DP seems to have reignited the conflict that led to the split of the DP in 2021, but today the main actors Berisha-Basha are in different positions.
