The head of the High Inspector of Justice, Artur Metani, has responded to the accusations of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, after the latter asked for his resignation, saying that he is involved in the incinerator affair.
When asked about Berisha's accusations, Metani said that "anyone who has complaints or accusations should go to the prosecutor's office".
He emphasized that anyone who seeks to intimidate or influence, or put pressure on the work of the High Inspector of Justice, will not succeed.
"I don't want to deal with political comments, but I will respect your question. For this particular case, but also for anyone else who has complaints or accusations against the High Inspector of Justice or Artur Metani, I tell them to go to the prosecutor's office.
Secondly, anyone who seeks to intimidate or influence, or put pressure on the work of the High Inspector of Justice, forget it! Forget it!", Artur Metani said.
