The deputy of the DP, Gazment Bardhi, has analyzed the Criminal Amnesty bill, which was not included in the agenda today in the Assembly, because it did not have 84 votes.
In an interview for the show "The Unexposed", Bardhi responded to the Minister of Justice Ulsi Manja who today accused him of being a liar when he declared that the amnesty aims to amnesty corrupt officials. Bardhi said that the parliamentary group of the SP has lifted the two prohibitions of the law for officials convicted by SPAK investigations.
" Manja knows from experience that lying once, twice and three times turns into character. Apparently, Minister Manja has character. I understand the embarrassment he is in. It has taken over a Rama proposal and is taking advantage of the fact that people do not go into the details of the amnesty law.
The draft has what has always been in criminal amnesties, that officials and subjects part of investigations and trials by SPAK and GJKO, do not benefit from amnesty. An amendment of one of our colleagues was misused, for 24 hours they confused the world by selling it as an opposition amendment. When the lie came out, now they accuse us of lying. The two bans of the initial draft have been lifted. There is no reason to lie about it. We have said that in principle we support the amnesty, if the Assembly would function normally, we would vote for it.
Today I heard an explanation from Mr. Basha why he will not vote for the amnesty and his attitude seemed correct to me. Even Mr. Basha has taken the position that corrupt officials should not be appointed ," said Bardhi.
