Interior Minister Taulant Balla has reacted to the "Rule of Law" police operation, saying that through this operation our communities are being protected from high-risk persons, persons wanted by justice or those who possess weapons without a permit.
Balla added that from the interventions of the police in Shkodër, Tirana, Elbasan, Prrenjas and Vlora, 19 people were arrested and detained and narcotics and vehicles used in criminal activities were seized.
"The attack on the growers and distributors of narcotic substances continues every day, with the aim of protecting the health of young people and every other citizen from the danger that their use brings. The Security Package in schools is closely related to the operation of the State Police" Temple", aiming to clear the security perimeter of schools from drug dealers. In Shkodër, Tirana, Elbasan, Prrenjas and Vlora, 19 citizens were arrested, detained/processed. Quantities of narcotics and vehicles used in criminal activities were seized. I appreciate the excellent cooperation between the State Police and the Prosecutor's Office of the General Jurisdiction Shkodër, for the in-depth proactive investigation that led to the heads of the criminal group involved in the cultivation of thousands of narcotic plants in Shkodër," said Balla.
