Endrit Braimllari, former vice-president of the Freedom Party, has expressed his desire to join Edi Rama's socialists.
Braimllari emphasizes that he is ready to contribute to the May 11 elections in favor of the Socialist Party, if he is given the necessary space.
In an interview for Report TV, Braimllari emphasizes that he has no contact with the SP, but is ready to start his commitment from the beginning.
"I am saying my wish. I am a leftist, my commitment will definitely be SP, but if the spaces are created. I don't mind starting over. It doesn't matter where Endrit Brahimllari's name is to give my contribution. In the upcoming parliamentary elections, I would like to give my commitment to the SP", said Braimllari for the show "Sot live in Albania".
While stating that he has no regrets in politics, Braimllari emphasized that he is ready to contribute to the Socialist Party.
" I have no problem starting where I started 19 years ago, starting from the palace, the neighborhood, if the space is created. I am clear about that ," he added.
Braimllari left PL after constant clashes with Ilir Meta and his supporters. From this moment, Braimllari was excluded from PL forums, but also as chairman of PL councilors in Tirana City Council.
