Today, the Assembly voted on the Socialist Party's proposal for Speaker of the Assembly, Niko Pelesh.

Democratic MPs did not go to the Committee established in the Assembly to collect the ballots, while earlier they said they would put the ballots they had in their hands in the box.

Only MP Tritan Shehu, unlike the Democratic Party group, went and voted.

Shehu then justified his action by saying that he voted against Niko Pelesh's candidacy for Speaker of the Assembly. He said that he went and voted unconsciously, simply as a reflex.
