Socialist Party MP Erion Braçe was the guest on the 'Orange' show, while he was part of the 'podcast' with Salsano Rrapi and Gaz Paja on 'RTV Kashari', and was asked if he would agree to run in the local elections in Tirana for mayor.
Brace humorously stated that he does not meet two conditions, that of height and that sometimes he even says 'No'.
He was then asked about his relationship with Prime Minister Edi Rama, where he revealed that he does not speak. "Relations, very good. We do not speak," said Braçe.
How are your relations with the mayor?
Braçe: Very good, we don't talk.
Is it difficult to be an opposition in Albania?
Braçe: No, it's not difficult to be an opposition if you deal with yourself, with the people and normally with the government.
If Edi Rama had run for mayor of Tirana, would you accept it?
Braçe: Uff! I would definitely accept it. I would accept it because during this period people wrote to me 'oh, you should be mayor', even if they were staring at me. And in the end I didn't because I didn't meet two criteria. The first, that I'm short, I'm not tall. The second, that I don't always say yes, I also say no. We burn both.
These agricultural products that are pesticides, is the government to blame?
Braçe: I say the government is also to blame. Why? Because it has left the farmer without money for a while. When the farmer is left without money, he doesn't come to Tirana, but tries to produce a little faster.
