Tirana will host the EU-WB6 Investment Forum tomorrow, attended by Western Balkan leaders and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
At the opening ceremony, after the welcoming speech by Prime Minister Edi Rama and the keynote speech by Ursula von der Leyen, Diella, the Minister for Artificial Intelligence, will also address the attendees with a speech.
The forum aims to strengthen economic cooperation and investment opportunities between the Western Balkan countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia) and the member states of the European Union (EU).
Supported by the European Commission, this Forum is part of the EU's broader strategy to promote regional integration and socio-economic convergence, fostering sustainable economic development across the region.
The European Union and the six Western Balkan countries (WB6) are at a key moment in their common economic and political journey.
As the EU seeks to revive its economic dynamism and ensure its global competitiveness, the Western Balkans emerge as a promising new frontier for investment.
