The Chairman of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party, Gazment Bardhi, reacted to the statements of Minister Belinda Balluku on the transport of toxic waste.
Bardhi writes that according to Minister Balluku, the Port of Durrës is not responsible for what happened while adding that according to her, anyone with a self-declaration can bring in and take out whatever they want from the Port of Durres.
Bardhi says that the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party will use all mechanisms of parliamentary control for the complete clarification of this issue.
"The Port of Durrës, according to the "Belinda cake", has no responsibility for what enters and leaves it. According to the Government, anyone with a self-declaration can bring in and out of the Port of Durrës whatever they want. In short, by self-declaration cocaine can be marked as flour; poison can be marked as a healing plant; the car can be marked as a bicycle; dirty money can be marked as toilet paper.
In fact, for a long time, the Port of Durrës has been transformed into an inn without gates, which is not controlled by the state authorities but by organized crime. "Torta Belinda" knows this better than anyone else, that's why nervousness, attack on the opposition media and "orphaned guilt" is the only way left.
The affair of the international traffic of hazardous toxic waste can never be realized without the support, inaction or complicity of the state authorities. Even the responsibility, inaction or violation of the law by private entities means inaction and lack of supervision by the state authorities that have allowed the abuse of the private.
The Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party will use all mechanisms of parliamentary control for the complete clarification of this issue, assuring the Albanian citizens that it will not allow in any case, that due to a criminal and irresponsible government of Edi Rama, Albania to be in permanent danger due to significant amounts of hazardous waste within the Albanian territory" , writes Bardhi on social networks.
