The inclusion of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha in the list of witnesses has brought strong debates at today's meeting of the Investigative Commission on the leakage of data from the "Tims" system.
Toni Gogu clashed with the democratic deputy Ervin Salianji and declared that the opposition is trying to become Sali Berisha's judge.
But on the other hand, Salianji told him that it was the socialist members themselves who requested the testimony of Berisha, Bardhi and Basha.
While the socialists are rejecting every request of the opposition, the chairman of the Commission, Ervin Salianji ironically mentioned the baseball bat to keep calm in the meeting.
We remember that Salianji appeared with a baseball bat at the DP headquarters after the protest of Sali Berisha's group.
Earlier during the meeting, the vice-chairman of the Investigative Commission, Toni Gogu, told Salianji that this commission must stay on the tracks of the law and that he cannot become here a judge of Sali Berisha.
"It is in the honor of this commission and of your integrity that we stay on the tracks of the law. The investigation plan in accordance with the law is proposed by the experts.
Of course, we also have the right to propose subpoenaing witnesses," said Gogu.
