Socialist Party MP Blerina Gjylametin in the investigation commission for the data of the 'TIMS' system has rejected her request to call Sali Berisha and Lulzim Basha as witnesses, as according to her it was being ironic.
According to Gjylameti, the commission was set up to understand what happened on August 2, 2023, and emphasized that it should be understood what happened to the system, not to individuals.
" You are a thread. What we make a diversion between you, between us also has a basis. The great desire makes you hold positions that you don't even believe, but take the irony for the truth of the rhetoric, and then build a whole fable to take Romeo off the balcony is too much. We must be a little more serious. For this honorable chairman there is no need to draw our ear. We do not come out to say what these are. I stand by the words I say and when I'm being ironic, keep it to me. I listened more carefully to Salianj after he said that the leaders of the State Police will be called over the years. When I raised this concern, it has to do with the element that this commission has set up, what happened on August 2, 2023 and not to investigate ministers and ex-ministers. The new law stipulates in Article 15 that the investigative plan is proposed by experts that we must vote together and then call the witnesses. Don't sell the irony as truth. I follow the call if during the investigation another element emerges. We have to understand who is responsible ." - said Gjylameti.
