The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has commented on the Conference of Ambassadors that is being held in Tirana. According to him, diplomacy failed, as relations with Greece and Kosovo have been frozen.
According to Berisha, the conference is being held at a moment of major failures of Albanian politics.
"Edi Rama did not say a word about the almost de facto freezing of relations with Kosovo", said the chief democrat.
According to Berisha, the freezing of relations with neighboring countries comes because Edi Rama's Tirana does not respect any principles governing interstate relations, accusing Rama of following only mafia interests, only clientelistic interests in international relations.

Edi Rama did not say a word about the frozen relations he has created in the southern neighbor, Krjekept for his personal mafia interests in the lands and shores of the Municipality of Himara. He did not say a word about imprisoning the elected mayor for usurping his mandate in order to guarantee that he will appropriate what does not belong to him.
Edi Rama did not say a word about the almost de facto freezing of relations with Kosovo, since more openly than Aleksandër Vucic, Edi Rama announced the sanctions against the Republic of Kosovo. It viciously attacked its prime minister, relentlessly lobbied for the non-agreement of visa liberalization, a flagrantly hostile act towards a free and independent country, even more so towards a country that is inhabited by 90 percent of Albanians.
Edi Rama froze relations in the Republic of North Macedonia, because he engaged directly in the electoral campaign in the most unscrupulous way. Relations are almost frozen in Montenegro.
All this, because the Tirana of Edi Rama, the official Tirana, does not respect any principle to regulate interstate relations, it follows only mafia interests, only clientelistic interests in international relations.
Second, he cheated, as usual. The truth is that last December, although it was announced in Tirana by Edi Rama's friends, that the first chapter of the negotiations would be opened in December, in December the European Council and the European Commission imposed 5 new conditions. Albania today is the country of political imprisonment, of political persecution. Albania is now the only country in Europe in which 3 leaders of the main opposition parties are under arrest or under criminal prosecution.
So, not that there is no progress, but in a unique case, it has been 4 years since the day of the decision to open negotiations, the decision in principle, but the negotiations have not been opened for the chapters and this is because of anti-democratic attitudes, anti-constitutional of Edi Rama.
In this meeting, Edi Rama tried to give black party colors to Albanian diplomacy, to present it as the diplomacy of the state party. In this context, I am convinced that a diplomacy in the function of the interests in the function of Edi Rama is a diplomacy to the great detriment of the interests of Albania and the Albanians.
That's why I call on the Albanian diplomats to stand as representatives of Albania, and not of the head of the narco-state, Edi Ramen.
I cannot but reiterate that this conference is being held at a time when, regardless of the glosses, in fact Edi Rama is the only person who has recruited in corruption to instigate against the opposition the famous McGonigal, the former head of counter-intelligence of the FBI for New York .
