Prime Minister Edi Rama, during his speech at the SP Congress, harshly attacked the MPs of the party, who according to them, most of them knock on the state offices only for their problems.
From the Congress of the Socialist Party, without giving names, he apologized to the Albanians for some "lazy" and "lazy" deputies, as he called them, who are far from the duty of an elected representative of the people.
He said that in the new political team, those who will compete for the next match will be only those people who do great work, without the slightest fuss.
"The MP's duty is measured by the kilometers traveled on foot in the country where the community that gave him the mandate lives. The MP may or may not be a mouthpiece, but he cannot be other than an example who listens to people and develops knowledge of the problems he has to deal with, solving big and small problems. To be a deputy of this party, I consider it an incomparable privilege and to be elected a deputy by the majority of Albanians is a debt that can never be washed away.
To those who often ask me where I find this energy, I return it with a smile, but I want to say that I cannot sit comfortably for an hour while those who have done me this favor, there are many who are not comfortable in that hour, this is a matter task. I ask all those who are not MPs but have invested their efforts and given their vote that a handful of SP people are here today as MPs. I want to apologize to those MPs who have not yet fulfilled the vital minimum for the task which are paid by Albanian taxes much better than most. I apologize to those deputies who come out just to accompany me. For those MPs who speak out only for their own interests and those MPs who have already come down to the hall, they talk once on the moon as if they have arrived on the moon," said Rama.
He spoke about a fourth mandate, where he expressed his conviction that they will get a historic victory.
"We will enter for the most exemplary victory of the entire uninterrupted series of our victories", said Rama.
Convinced of winning a fourth term, Rama emphasized that with the cooperation of young people who will join this political force, every barrier will be overcome.
"Our fourth mandate will be the mandate of the sure irreversibility of unstoppable progress, of gathering many other fruits of the long and difficult work of these years in the direction of Albania, the mandate of an extraordinary work in terms of volume and challenges to overcome the great historical turning point that we started a decade ago and to successfully close the negotiation process for EU membership", he said.
