The session of December 18, the last for this year, was characterized by scenes of continuous chaos. The deputies of the Democratic Party did not allow the normal development of the discussions and clashed with the Guard of the Republic. Precisely for this, the Secretariat of Ethics excluded six opposition deputies from the proceedings of the Assembly for 30 days, despite the fact that the request of the SP was for 29 of them.
MP Saimir Korreshi was also on the list. He was also the protagonist in the viral footage from the Parliament.
In Klan News, he explained specifically what happened in those moments of tension.
" First, all our movements were before the start of the plenary session. The Republican Guard cannot enter at any time when the session has not started, according to the regulations."
It cannot prevent the deputies from working in the entire area, because the Assembly does not belong to the Socialist Party, nor has anyone employed us. It is an Assembly where the rules must be respected, and not only when it benefits the party that has the majority.
Moreover, Niko Peleshi cannot provoke by starting the session when there is no normality in the hall. The Guard is responsible for protecting the MP, they have violated the MPs.
Look how the Guard is pushing, look! What did they have to push for?! The first one was not hit nor was it our intention to hit our fellow MPs. The Speaker of the Assembly interrupted the session at a much more pointless moment, the security of not a single minister was violated, there was no harassment or anything. There is a deadlock there that you cannot overcome, what are you pushing us for?! Where are you going to take us?! ", explained Korreshi.
He then spoke briefly about the member of the DP Presidency, Ervin Salianji. " Our friend and comrade ," Korreshi said of the former MP.
Despite the statements of the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, the MP added: " The entire opposition action is no longer about what the party leader said or how Ervin felt and vice versa. We have a monstrous crime that is happening, things that until yesterday were called fantasy. I will only complain about this, because the Democrats do not deserve it "!
