16 candidates with criminal records?
For the first time in all these years, the Socialist Party has given up on including criminals on the lists of candidates for MPs. Edi Rama had convicted persons in every election, but at least from the preliminary data of the decriminalization forms, no one convicted appears on the SP lists.
The Central Election Commission has sent 16 candidates for the May 11 parliamentary elections to the General Prosecutor's Office for verification.
These are 4 candidates from the Nisma Shqipëria Bëhet - Adriatik Lapaj coalition, 4 from the Social Democratic Party, two from Agron Shehaj's Mundësia Party, two from the "New Democracy Alliance" party, and one each from the Euro-Atlantic Coalition, the Joint Movement, and the "Right for Development" coalition.
"Pamphlet" has obtained the forms submitted by most of the names and it turns out that some have been deported from several countries and others have been convicted of theft and ordinary crimes.

5. Dritan Vesel Tafhasaj , candidate for deputy in the Kukës district from the Joint Movement Party
6. Adela Ferhat Qemali , candidate for deputy in the Tirana district from the "Mundësia" Party
7. Altin Avni Muceku , candidate for deputy in Tirana from the "Mundësia" Party
8. Entela Skënder Sula , candidate for MP in Tirana from the "Shqipëria Bëhet-Adriatic Lapaj Initiative"
9. Erjon Ismail Selmani , candidate for MP in Lezha from the Coalition "Initiative Albania Becomes - Adriatik Lapaj", Lezha District, for the Assembly elections of May 11, 2025".
