Analyst Skënder Minxhozi debated with the head of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party, Gazment Bardhi, while he was talking about the problems of this party.
According to Minxhozi, the PD has fallen into a rut and does not know how to get out, and Berisha and Basha are to blame for this.
"I would tell Bardhi very calmly that the diagnosis he gives to the sick is completely wrong. I think that today's PD suffer from another diagnosis much earlier and deeper than the formatting of a table. The great problem of PD is in the genesis, in the devastating dilemma, already 10 years old Berisha-Basha. He has fallen into a rut, from which I don't know how he will get out," said Minxhozi.
He emphasized that the political solution for DP is to undergo a rotation of generations without wasting time, in order to bring new blood into its structure.
"The diagnosis is one and only one: with everyone, generation rotation in the party. You cannot take power from Edi Rama now. The problem is, will you get it later? Americans and Europeans have a principled problem with Berisha. They closed the problem. Be careful who stays with the non gratas. You have a war with Sali Berisha and Lulzim Basha," he told abcnews.
Minxhozi addressed Bardhi that the biggest political "war" is not with Rama, but with Berisha and Basha. Cooperation with them, added Minxhozi, will further prolong the agony of the PD.
"Mr. Bardhi, you don't have a fight with Edi Rama, you have a fight with Basha and Berisha. If you, with one of the two, for current reasons of the day and concrete needs, you are tempted for any kind of cooperation, know that you will only do one thing and not the other; you will prolong the political life of one of the two and prolong the agony of the Democratic Party", said Minxhozi.
