Changing the course of Albania's position in relation to the EU regarding the terrorist attack in the north of Kosovo, the democratic deputy Agron Gjekmarkaj says that it is late, but he emphasizes that "better late than never".
Invited to the show "Debate" on A2 CNN, Gjekmarkaj said that the Albanian government has not done its duty in relation to Kosovo.
"It seems to me a late reflection, but better late than never. This government has had a fundamental problem with Kosovo, it has tried to behave in a highly pathetic way, by behaving like this we have violated the independence and integrity of Kosovo. We have the obligation to be helped, reconciled and to face all the challenges together, we have not done well in this work" , said Gjekmarkaj.
As for the situation in the north, for Gjekmarkaj, it is an indication that Albin Kurti was right.
" This is a change of course and from the internal pressure and the dynamics of the event, which were fair to Kurti for some behavior that has been criticized a lot in Albania and Kosovo. The way he managed this event moved the law quite close to Kurti ", concluded Gjekmarkaj.
