Even though the exam a few months ago was scandalous and it was proven that there was cheating and the winners were manipulated, the Magistrates' School continues the procedures to produce new judges and prosecutors.
Today, it has made public the list of competitors running for judges, prosecutors, legal advisors in the court, prosecutor's office and state attorney.
There are a total of 299 applicants, reports Top Channel journalist Anila Hoxha.
The number of quotas for the academic year 2025-2026 are 10 vacant positions for the judge profile and 3 vacant positions for the legal assistant profile in the court, 12 vacant positions for the prosecutor profile, 3 vacant positions for the legal advisor profile in the prosecution.
There are also 7 vacant positions for the state attorney profile at the local level, at local ministries/offices.
The entrance exam will be organized in writing in two stages.
FIRST PHASE: April 22, 2025, 8:00-13:00, Concert Hall, Congress Palace, Tirana.
SECOND PHASE: April 24 and 25, 2024, 8:00-13:00, Main Hall of the Congress Palace, Tirana.
Competitors, at all stages of the organization of the entrance exam, must have their identification document with them.
The entrance exam program (where you will also find the list of subjects that will serve as the basis for testing) is published on the School's website www.magjistratura.edu.al. The exam program corresponds to both phases of the exam: intelligence test, Albanian language, EU legislation, international relations, comparative law (general principles), history of the state and law, professional ethics, constitutional law, civil law and obligations, civil procedure, criminal law, criminal procedure, administrative law, family law, commercial law, labor law.
