DP candidate for deputy Myslim Murrizi has declared that the current Electoral Code is "bastard" and "unclean", emphasizing that it is for a majoritarian system and 100 percent open lists. According to him, candidates should not hide behind closed lists.
" Personally, I am against this Paçavure Electoral Code, it is a bastard code that kills the sovereignty of the vote. Personally, I like the majoritarian system. I would like a manly code, they don't have to hide in closed lists, people are afraid of the citizen vote. There are 5 elections that the political decision-making elite hides the candidates from the voters, just like in the time of comrade Enver. I am very glad to see Damian on the open list, because he is the cook of a spoiled soup along with Oerdi.
"If they give me the mandate, in September I will start this battle to spoil that soup cooked since 2008. Some of these political corpses, within the closed lists, refused to even enter the primaries! Autocracy has been raised to the peak thanks to this bastard electoral law ," he said, speaking on MCN Live.
Murrizi said he will unmask the candidates on the closed lists if he notices any preferences from them.
" If I and other candidates notice some preference of these in closed lists, I will publicly expose them. For me, none of these leaders will have a place to be factored in every meeting that Myslim Murrizi holds. I am not going to promote political clowns who want to be factored in, so that I can do the work and they can do it as great leaders! ", he added.
Murrizi said he will request a recount in 9 EAZs even if he receives 100,000 votes, to put some thieves in prison.
" The MPs who will emerge from the mayors' firms are party employees, I don't call them MPs at all. They are not really MPs, how can you be an MP without the votes of citizens. I call the 48 MPs who come from the votes of citizens. And I will try hard for Albanians to elect 140 MPs ," said Murrizi.
