Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha learned the news of the death of former PD deputy, Gert Bogan, during a media conference.
During his speech, Berisha said that this is a black news that came to him like a bolt from an open sky as he spoke with appreciation for the figure of Gert Bogdan.
"This black news at this moment came to my desk. This is shocking news. Gerti Bogdani has been and will remain in my memory one of the most popular and prominent young personalities of the DP. He was a politician, democrat, with civility, with formation, with preparation, with honesty, with wisdom, in the highest degree.
This is a great loss for the DP, but it is a real loss for the Albanian society. Gerti Bogdani was one of those young people, descendants of an excellent family, aligned with the DP from the beginning, educated with the highest results in the best schools in the USA. He, between a future in the country where he was educated, where he spent his student years and contributions to his country, to the Democratic Party, chose the latter.
This shocking news for me and for every democrat and for every citizen who has known Gerti Bogdan came to me at this moment like a bolt from an open sky. 2 nights ago I followed him in a television studio, I think that if there is a person I know who has every citizen and every citizen, he has left only positive impressions in every meeting, in every communication. After keeping 1 minute of silence in honor of the former deputy of the DP, Gert Bogdani, the chief democrat Berisha has decided to interrupt the press conference.
