A road accident occurred yesterday evening on the Lushnje-Berat national axis, near the center of the Fier-Shegan village.
According to preliminary information, two vehicles were involved in the accident. As a result of the collision, an elderly woman was injured and was urgently taken to Lushnja Hospital, where she is receiving medical treatment.
In the first minutes after the accident, army officers who were near the scene intervened to manage vehicle traffic until the arrival of Traffic Police patrols.
Initial reports indicate that a "Benz" vehicle hit a "Volkswagen" vehicle from behind. Meanwhile, police have launched investigations to clarify the full circumstances and determine the cause of the accident.
