The leader of the BASHKË Movement, Arlind Qori, has thanked all the supporters who voted for him in the May 11 elections, making it possible to elect a deputy in Tirana.
With over 23,000 votes nationally, Qori says that this is just the beginning of a battle to free citizens from the fear and pessimism that has gripped the country.
" In Albania, discontent deepens day by day. But faster than that, fear, pessimism, despair have grown, all of these mixed with a dose of cynicism. What enables discontent to overcome obstacles and turn into revolt is hope."
The BASHKA movement has managed to inspire hope in over 23,000 citizens (the counting of diaspora votes continues) and elect a deputy to the Albanian Parliament. In itself, that's not many. In the conditions where the thorn has taken over, that's not a few.
