Relations between Prime Minister Edi Rama and his Greek counterpart Kyriakos Mitsotakis are not at the highest point, due to the "Beleri" case.
Not far from yesterday, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis declared that Albania-Greece relations are turning upside down, and threatened to block EU integration, Rama has chosen to respond in another way.
He shared on Facebook the square that "Rilindja Urbane" is building in the minority village of Derviçan in Dropull. The bust of the father of the Greek prime minister, who today threatens the future of the Albanian people, will also be placed there.
"The Urban Renaissance site in the heart of Derviçan, the center of the municipality of Dropulli, which will bear the name of Konstantinos Mitsotakis, the first Greek prime minister who visited the minority after the fall of communism", writes Rama.
So, there have been no shortage of stinging comments about this situation. Someone writes to Rama that today he put a Greek name on a square in Albanian land, but he should be careful that tomorrow the Greeks raise territorial claims on that square.
