The deputy of the Democratic Party, Dashnor Sula, commented on the agreement with Italy on pensions.
During his speech at today's plenary session, Sula accused the majority of deliberately delaying the voting of this agreement in parliament today, since the gathering with Albanian immigrants in Milan is on May 26.
"We agree and without question we will vote for it and it is within reach. If it was for your morals, you couldn't do it after May 26 when you will hold the meeting in Milan? But everything is within the framework of the electoral campaign", said Sula.
The democratic deputy also called on SPAK and the CEC to check whether the Athens rally was made with the money of the Socialist Party headquarters or with the money of Albanian taxpayers.
"I would ask SPAK and CEC, which must definitely check whether those millions of euros are legal money of the SP headquarters or the money of Albanian tax payers.
Do you know what the population is abroad? It is about 1.8 million inhabitants that Albania should have and the other half are abroad, now you want to catch voters abroad.
In a few years, the number of pensioners in Albania will be greater than the number of employees. For a person to survive in Albania, he must spend 4.4 dollars, higher than all the countries of the Region. The average salary in Albania is the lowest salary. In 2023, you made an increase of 15,000 old lek, considering the price increase, not even half a loaf of bread is worth it", declared Sula.
