The meeting of the Council of Mandates, the lawyer confirms: Ahmetaj has gone abroad

Former minister Arben Ahmetaj has left the country. This was confirmed by his lawyer today in the Council of Mandates and Immunities. From 4:00 p.m., SPAK's request for the arrest of the former minister, who was represented at the hearing by his two lawyers, is being discussed. They have confirmed that he has left the territory without giving more details.

"The former minister is not in Albania at the moment!" said lawyer Henrik Ligori. 

Earlier, it was Altin Dumani and Enkelejda Millonia who submitted the request why Ahmetaj's immunity should be removed. For them, he has committed corruption, concealment of wealth and money laundering.
