Prime Minister Edi Rama during the conversation with the expert of the European Center of the Atlantic Council, Rachel Rizzo, spoke about the danger from cyber attacks and the action of the police in the MEK camp, a few weeks ago.
The Prime Minister said that based on the agreement, it was clear that they should not turn Albania into a platform to attack Iran's regime, and as a result, Iran carried out a cyber attack against Albania.
' As an example I can say that we are a small country and we are not in a position to change the fate of any conflict war or battle, but when we are asked to help, we are very happy to do it. When we were asked to help the MEK group who are a tough pack, otherwise they would have been massacred by the secret services in Iran we were asked to save their lives. Albanians have their DNA to save the lives of others. The agreement was clear that they would stay in Albania to be safe and not to turn Albania into a political platform to attack the regime. We were affected by cyber attacks from Iran. We are trying to do a lot to strengthen cyber security ,' said Rama.
