After the quarrels between Meta and Braimllari, at the meeting of the National Steering Committee of the Freedom Party, held on October 1, 2024, the decision was made to exclude the latter from this political structure.
The head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has expelled the former General Secretary of the LSI, Endri Braimllari, also known as Monika Kryemadhi's right-hand man, from the PL, during the time she led the party.
After the quarrels between Meta and Braimllari, at the meeting of the National Steering Committee of the Freedom Party, held on October 1, 2024, the decision was made to exclude the latter from this political structure.
Apparently, Meta is trying to remove all Monika's "people" from the Freedom Party, perhaps out of fear of an internal 'conspiracy':
For this reason, Braimllari has requested his removal from the position as chairman of the group of advisers of the Freedom Party in the Municipal Council of Tirana.
In an official communication addressed to the President of the Municipal Council of Tirana, Romina Kuko, Braimllari has confirmed that from this moment he will act as an independent advisor.
Brahimllar's announcement:
Dear Sirs/ At the meeting of the National Steering Committee of the Freedom Party, held on October 1, 2024, the decision was made on my exclusion from this political structure. In the conditions of the expulsion from the Freedom Party, I ask you to implement the decision on the removal as the chairman of the group of advisers of the Freedom Party in the Tirana City Council. At the same time, my position as an independent advisor in the Tirana City Council. From this moment I will be an independent advisor, in defense of the civic interest to create chances and opportunities for the citizens of Tirana.
