Debates and tensions at the meeting of the College of Appeals and Sanctions, where the Democratic Party's appeal for the Dibra district was reviewed. And while the DP and its allies are contesting the results announced by the CEC for the May 11 elections, the debates have shifted to the KAS, where the legal representatives of the Democrats are demanding the invalidity of the result.
KAS member Ilir Rusmali debated with DP lawyer Marash Logu, who requested the invalidation and repetition of the elections in Debar.
Logu requested the opening of the ballot boxes at KZAZ 18 in Bulqiza, as irregularities were found in the video footage. Rusmali, on the other hand, asked Logu to make it clear to the KAS in which sequences they noticed irregularities. "Give us the time code, we can't see all the raw footage," Rusmali addressed the DP representative, while the latter requested the exclusion of the former Minister of Justice in the Berisha Government from the case in question.

Logu : It was said that the administration can make it available to you. If you want us to bring you the same view, of course.
Lako : This is required because the administration can look into it and, in their opinion, they can say that there is no problem. Since you raise a claim that there has been a violation, present it to us, let us look into it and decide.
Logu : We will make the footage we claim available to you.
Rusmali: The footage is not made available in raw form, because we don't peel it for ourselves. The time code starts us, in this minute, this second, it's a vote... all with a table! So that we can see and verify it. It's not that we want the USB from you and we don't want it from the administration. You're a young guy and you constantly make mistakes. But, that doesn't matter. This is the procedure of this institution and don't be arrogant here.
Logu : I procedurally request that Rusmali be excluded from reviewing all requests made by the DP, as he does not ensure impartiality in this process. There is also a conflict of interest that we will demonstrate. Keep these words of arrogance, etc., etc. to yourself. And apologize that I did not offend you. Maintain ethics, sir.
The meeting was postponed to June 4. In Dibër, the SP won 3 mandates, while the DP won 2.
