Today, the plenary session is taking place in the Parliament of Albania, as there have been tensions between the opposition and the majority regarding the change in the agenda.
Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has made serious accusations against the government and the State Police, accusing them of being the ones who killed one of the members of the mujahedin, after the clash in Camp Ashraf3.
During his speech in the Assembly, Berisha requested a minute of silence for the MEK member who lost his life in the camp in Manzë two days ago.
"I condemn with greater severity, I request the inclusion in the agenda of the massacre that was carried out in the Mujahideen camp. I am here to declare that at this moment I feel like a Mujahideen. Freedom fighter. I extend to them my sincerest feelings of support and sympathy. I feel like a mujahideen today because the amoral government of this country killed a freedom fighter in its own bread and shelter. The indictment we read yesterday is the most shameful story for a country.
It was written in Tehran. The indictment was based entirely on slander and fabrications by the services against the freedom fighters. The indictment contained elements of extreme humiliation of Albania and Albanians as if it is not a NATO member country but a vassal of Iran. A minute's silence is requested for the fallen martyr of freedom. I invite you to keep a minute of silence", said Berisha.
