Changes at the head of the Tirana Municipal Council. After the departure of Romina Kuko, who was elected MP on May 11, Megi Fino has been appointed at the head of the Municipal Council. The latter holds the position of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. It should be noted that she is the daughter of the late Bashkim Fino.
Megi Fino was born in Ioannina on April 7, 1993. She completed her pre-university studies in the International Baccalaureate program in Beijing in 2012.
He then studied law at the University of London in the UK, from which he also holds a Master's degree (LLM) in Public International Law and subsequently a Master's Professional Practice (LPC) degree. In 2015, he graduated in Chinese (Mandarin) from SOAS University of London.
Fino worked as a legal advisor on immigration issues in international law firms during her undergraduate and postgraduate studies, as well as in free legal service centers, with a social assistance orientation.
Megi Fino serves as Deputy Minister in the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs since June 2021.
Meanwhile, the majority has also rewarded Endrit Braimllari. The latter left the LSI and ran for deputy in the May 11 elections. Since he did not win, he was appointed deputy chairman of the Municipal Council today. It should be noted that he is currently a councilor, after winning the local elections under the PL banner. But after clashes with Ilir Meta, he left the party.
So what is noticeable is that Rama is spreading his tentacles everywhere in the municipality. Both appointed people are loyal to him. Megi Fino comes from the ranks of the government, while Braimllari helped the SP in the May 14 elections, stealing many votes from the PL.
At the meeting, it was noticeable that the municipality was represented by Deputy Mayor Andi Seferi, while the acting mayor Anuela Ristani was not present.
