DP MP, Enkelejd Alibeaj, calls the agreement between DP and SP on changes to the Electoral Code an anti-SPAK reform.
Speaking in harsh tones in the Assembly, Alibeaj said that this is a bargain between Rama and Berisha that gives the prime minister the 4th mandate on a golden platter.
According to Alibeaj, Rama and Berisha came together due to their fear of SPAK and the agreement is that one will hold the government and the other will be the leader of the opposition.
Stopping at 1/3 of the closed list, Alibeaj said that the Assembly will have 100 fixed deputies with zero votes.
"Today's session will be remembered. Today is the moment to tell the truth. These MPs today are in a conflict of interest, they are determining the seat of the MPs for the 2025 elections. Everyone, if they have a bit of morals, should remove their hands from the interest themselves.
Rama was awarded the fourth governing mandate. Edi Rama, with the vote that will be held today, gets the fourth government. Today there is no more opposition, co-governance has been achieved, and as long as the bargain has been divided, the only thing that remains is where I will be as a deputy tomorrow. I'm making the change to stick to the fiscated lists. Albanians have no reason to vote for them, they are sure, only 40 will be called Albanian MPs.
Today the parliament of the Albanians has fallen, it is the parliament of deputies who are thinking about their careers. How is it possible that the fourth mandate is given to the one who does not come. The only fear they have is SPAK, that unites them. And now the next plan is how to beat SPAK.
