Negotiations with the EU, Rama: I was afraid we would lose our name, but our

Prime Minister Edi Rama praised Albania's public administration in his speech during the presentation of the new Minister of Justice.

Rama emphasized that the administration's work came to the fore during the process of opening negotiations with the European Union, and this work received applause and appreciation.

He admitted that he was not sure whether the workload would be coped with by the Albanian administration after the opening of negotiations.

"The membership negotiations have exposed to us a reality that we did not recognize properly. The reality of a considerable professional power in our public administration. Because our confrontation with Brussels does not let you hide or allow you to put on makeup. You know it or you don't! You do it or you don't!

Nearly 1000 girls and boys from our civil service and institutions faced the process of scanning the situation and should lead to the opening of negotiations. They received applause from Brussels and this was a very welcome surprise. Meanwhile, my fear was what we will do when the negotiations open because we will leave a bad name.

"I was also influenced by all the daily gossip and the undeserved words that circulate through all the infected information channels about our administration. The fact that he received applause is a very strong reason to feel motivated and we can do much more and much better," said Rama.
