Fitim Zekthi, member of the leadership of the Democratic Party, said that the rapprochement of Gazment Bardhi with Sali Berisha does not add any votes for this political duo.
He said that there are two big entities in the DP, which have votes and they are Berisha and Basha. According to him, the group of deputies who have aligned themselves with Bardhi have no votes.
Zekthi emphasized that among these entities the most acceptable is Basha's wing, since Berisha has been declared "non grata" by the USA and is totally isolated.
"I want to say this. There are two big entities, Berisha and Basha. They have their flows in DP. Berisha seems to be bigger, but Berisha is non grata and is not an alternative. Basha is smaller, but she is not non grata. It is a carrier of conservative values. Bardhi, in my judgment, does not add any votes to Berisha. It is stupidity and blindness. The votes are in two flows, Berisha and Basha", he said for "Abc news".
